A very long thank you note.
(My mom impressed on me the importance of saying thanks. Thanks, Mom.)
In 2025, I was able to get my third solo album, The Face of 68, released. I could not have done it without the help of all of these folks:
- Rob Ladd, Robert Sledge, Mark Simonsen, Marti Jones, Don Dixon and Jason Richmond, the team who helped bring my songs to life at Overdub Lane. And to Wes and Lisa Lachot for generously helping make that happen.
- Jon Langford for the beautiful front cover, and Jon Krop for the remainder of the graphics.
- Jeff Powell at Takeout Vinyl for making the LPs sound terrific.
- Label 51 Recordings’ staff: Bill Hein, Andy Zicklin, Fred Goldring, Dee Ann Metzger, Ken Gullic, the aforementioned Jon Krop, Travis Whitlock and Oswaldo Gomez.
- My esteemed attorney David Wykoff and his associate Ginger Eldridge for hammering out the agreement.
- Wendy Brynford-Jones for working her magic on getting so many people to listen to and review the album and invite me on their podcast.
- My long-suffering and patient manager and agent Bill Hutchison for standing by me throughout it all.
- The lovely and talented Tina Dunn for booking my West Coast tour.
- My NC bandmates: Ladd, Sledge and Sam Frazier. And Dempsey Elks for providing a lovely space for our rehearsals.
- My LA bandmates: Nick Vincent, David Nolte and Geoff Pearlman. And Nick and Lyn Bertles for opening their home for rehearsals out there.
