Getting ready to start back up again, after a year-plus out of action onstage.

I'm also going to open for the Connells, whose new album Steadman's Wake is superb:

You all probably already know about Our Back Pages (by Peter Holsapple & Chris Stamey) being released on LP and CD via Omnivore Recordings, but if not, here's a link to the new video for "Today Could Be the Day." The songs on OBP are from the catalog of The dB's but given new and interesting treatments by Chris and me.
I've been working in The Hit Shed, my home studio, over the months, writing and recording new songs, as well as doing online sessions for a bunch of artists. And a couple of weeks ago, I got to record new songs for Florence Dore's upcoming album, Highways and Rocketships, at Fidelitorium, Mitch Easter's extraordinary studio in Kernersville NC, alongside producer Don Dixon, lead guitarist Mark Spencer (Son Volt, Blood Oranges), bassist Jeremy Chatzky (Bruce Springsteen, Ronnie Spector), and my old pal Will Rigby on drums. The last bookings at the Fidel before the pandemic were the beginnings of the album, and we were also the first back in the studio! Release date for the album has not been set yet, but stay tuned on Florence's social media, and she'll give you the head's up.
And not to be too oblique, but there will be some interesting news on The dB's' front later this year which should delight you, as it has us!
