Peter Holsapple (dB's, Continental Drifters) infrequently posts about his solo career; he plans on being more disciplined about this place in the future.

Mark your calendars for this day. Something very nice is going to happen at Carrollton Station in New Orleans that night.
Care to guess what that might be?
PS (11.7.08) sorry Jeff, no H-Bombs/Cigz, but the other guesses are correct.

If it's a Continental Drifters reunion, I may have to make the trek south from bluegrass country....
That Chicago road trip idea sounds like a mighty fine one, especially since the date coincides with the Jazz & Heritage Festival. My gal and I are going to bring a posse from Chicago (and perhaps Minneapolis).
I'm definitely excited for all us Drifters fans, for Peter, and just excited to drive down HWY 57 to go to New Orleans and see the city - oh and I'm going to the Jazz Fest too! This will be my second trip to New Orleans. We are going to be cutting it close as far as the Drifters concert goes but I have every intention of being there! You Go Peter! Full speed ahead and damn the torpedoes !

Could it be??? Sounds like something Continental.
If it's a Drifters reunion, I'd say that would be excuse enough for a road trip from Chicago. Hope so!
bringing the may day parade inside for a 32nd anniversary show? are the cigaretz & h-bombs playing?
So, who is going to be in this version of the Drifters? Vicki?
Mark? Robert? Not Susan or Russ?
What about Ray? Who on drums?
The Vermilion line-up.
Oh, man. Transcontinental road trip!

Peter, you've made an old guy very happy indeed. Expect a few Boston folks in the house.
I promise not to regale you with another off-key rendition of "Vatican Blues" in advance of this one.
A little over two weeks to go, can't wait! :)
