Consider these songs:

2000 (AD) - The Rezillos
2112 - Rush
2020 - Prince

I think I've found the worst possible compilation concept.

What am I forgetting?

Edit: I will take all suggestions and update this list. Bring it on.
Edit 2: This is looking great, a natural for Rhino, right?

2 more--

1959 - Patti Smith
'74-'75 - Connells (two years-not sure if that counts)

Thanks, worthy additions all.

I'm going to disallow Zager and Evans however for the intrusion of words into the numerical title. Were they in parentheses, maybe; Connells, also a 'no'.

Giant Sand has a 1972, too.

1978 - Liliput
1973 - James Blunt

Keep 'em comin'!

1934 - Connells (this makes up for '74-'75)
1961 - Nick Hayward
1970 - Mission of Burma
1995 - Luna
1985 - Manic Street Preachers
1990 - Temptations
1994 - Loudon Wainwright III
1960 - America
1982 - Randy Travis

This reminds me of a list a friend did years ago of songs that had a cowbell in them - that was hard as well (I can only think of one currently)

I'm not sure even the mighty Rhino could navigate the rights nightmare this list stirs up.

Wasn't there a year song by those awful Smashing Pumpkins?

Did you mean the Minus Five?
